PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Cupuacu Ultra Refined Butter is a luxurious, plant-derived butter sourced from the seeds of the Brazilian Cupuaçu tree. Naturally rich in fatty acids and phytosterols, it provides lasting moisture while helping improve skin softness, smoothness, and the appearance of elasticity.


Cold pressed and ultra-refined for a creamy texture, light colour, and mild aroma, this butter is an excellent emollient for dry skin and hair. Its moisture-retaining properties make it a versatile ingredient in body butters, creams, lotions, lip balms, hair masks, and other nourishing cosmetic formulations.


DIRECTIONS AND USAGE

  • Facial Creams & Body Lotions: Incorporate at approximately 3–5% to enhance moisturization, softness, and skin conditioning. Melt gently and incorporate into the appropriate oil phase during formulation.
  • Lip Balms & Body Butters: Use at approximately 5–100% in anhydrous balms, body butters, and conditioning treatments to provide a rich, creamy texture and help reduce moisture loss.
  • Cold-Process & Melt-and-Pour Soaps: Incorporate at approximately 3–6% to improve the conditioning properties and overall skin feel of finished soap bars. Verify lye calculations for cold-process formulations.
  • Hair Masks & Conditioners: Use at approximately 2–5% in hair masks, leave-in conditioners, and styling butters to improve softness, shine, and manageability while helping smooth frizz.
  • Melting & Tempering: Gently heat until completely melted, then cool under controlled conditions to help minimize graininess. Approximate melting point: 30–35°C (86–95°F).
