Directions And Usage
Versatile Cosmetic Ingredient
Ultra Refined Mango Butter is a nutrient-rich addition to a wide variety of cosmetic and personal care formulations. Naturally containing beneficial lipids and antioxidants, it helps enhance the sensory profile and moisturizing performance of finished products. Typical usage levels range from 2–10% in most formulations. Always perform small-scale testing to determine ideal concentrations for your specific application.
Lotions & Creams
Mango Butter can be incorporated into emulsions to boost richness and skin-conditioning properties. Add at 5–20% to creams and lotions for enhanced moisture and a smooth, nourishing finish. Gently melt the butter and blend into the oil phase or finished formulation as required. Suitable for both facial and body care when properly formulated.
Acne & Sensitive Skin Formulations
Due to its smooth, non-heavy skin feel, Mango Butter can be used in formulations designed for sensitive or blemish-prone skin. Lower usage levels of 2–5% are typically recommended to maintain a lightweight texture. Always test compatibility within your formulation and intended market.
Soaps & Shaving Products
Mango Butter is a popular addition to cold process and melt-and-pour soaps, as well as shaving creams, contributing to a creamy lather and conditioning after-feel. Use at 5–20% of the total oil phase in soap formulations. Small batch testing is recommended to achieve desired hardness and lather.
Lip & Body Balms
Ideal for balms and solid moisturizers, Mango Butter can be used alone or blended with other butters and oils. Usage levels can range from 5–100%, depending on the desired firmness and glide. Adds structure, nourishment, and a smooth application.
Hair Care & Conditioning Products
Incorporate Mango Butter into conditioners, masks, and styling products at 2–5% to support softness and manageability while helping improve overall hair feel.
Body Butters & Whipped Blends
Mango Butter is an excellent base for rich body butters and whipped formulations. Its smooth texture and conditioning profile pair well with other natural butters and oils to create luxurious, deeply moisturizing blends.
