Directions and Suggested Usage
Soap Applications: Incorporate Sweet Almond Butter at 5% to 20% into cold process or melt and pour soaps to enhance conditioning and skin feel. A typical starting point is approximately 1 tablespoon per pound, or 15 mL per 500 g of base. As with any formulation, small batch testing is recommended prior to full production, along with patch testing for end use.
Creams and Lotions: Add at 3% to 20% to increase richness and improve moisturisation. This butter is especially suitable for sensitive skin and baby care formulations, offering the nourishing properties of almond oil in a creamy form. To incorporate, gently melt and blend into the formulation while mixing until fully uniform.
Balms and Solid Products: Use at 3% up to full concentration depending on the desired texture and firmness. It blends well with waxes, carrier oils, and essential oils to create customised lip, hand, or body balms.
Massage Products: Incorporate at 1% to 100% to provide smooth glide and a soft, conditioned finish. Its light, unscented profile makes it suitable for a wide range of skin types.
Hair Care Applications: Use at 0.5% to 3% in conditioners, masks, or styling products to improve softness, smoothness, and manageability. It is particularly beneficial for dry or damaged hair, helping to enhance shine and overall feel.
Important Notes
