Directions and Suggested Usage
Luscious Creams and Lotions: Incorporate 2 to 20 percent Ultra Refined Shea Butter into creams and lotions to enhance nourishment and skin feel. If needed, gently warm the base until soft enough to blend smoothly. Shea Butter typically melts between 32°C and 35°C. While mixing, slowly drizzle in the melted butter and blend thoroughly using a hand blender to ensure even incorporation.
Rich and Moisturising Balms and Soaps: For soap formulations, add approximately 1 tablespoon of Shea Butter per pound of soap base or use at a concentration of 5 to 20 percent. Due to variations in raw materials and processing conditions, small scale testing is recommended prior to commercial production.
High Performance Hair Conditioners: Add Ultra Refined Shea Butter at levels of 1 to 10 percent in hair conditioners to deliver added moisture, softness, and nourishment to the hair.
Important Notes
STABILITY NOTE: Shea Butter may occasionally develop a grainy texture due to natural crystallisation. Ultra Refined Shea Butter is less prone to this occurrence, however it may still arise under certain conditions. If graininess occurs, restore a smooth consistency by gently heating the butter until fully liquefied, mixing thoroughly, then allowing it to cool under controlled, cool conditions.
STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from direct heat and temperature fluctuations.
